IF WE COULD DO IT OVER
If we could do it over
start again anew
would your ring be on my finger
Would I still be loving you
If you knew before the beginning
all the things I'd put you through
When the sun comes up tomorrow
would you still love me too
Well I know that I'm not perfect
an I've got a vice or two
Lord knows you've been no angel
and you've got your vices to
are the times we've had good and bad
been worth what we've gone through
Ive thought about it often
wondered what I'd do
Lord knows it ain't been easy
with the things you've put me through
I know I've cried my share of tears
and I think you've cried some too
but if I had to do it over
I'd still be loving you
but i wonder my sweet darling
would you still love me too
If we could do it over
start again anew
We'd do it all together
I might change a thing or two
but if life is worth the living
It's because of me and you
so when the sun comes up tomorrow
I'll be right here loving you

The steadfast ones stand firm
