To be physically fit is to be a healthier, more confident, and superior human being. Being fit physically induces better mental health in addition to physical health. To ignore the requirement for physical fitness is to virtually guarantee an erosion of total well-being.
Obesity is known to be bad for the health with many repercussions, including diabetes. Lack of exercise accelerates muscle loss and diminishing aerobic capacity.


Think about it; to be proactive and do something about it, you must take control of your own life. Open your mind. Be proactive. Get moving. You CAN do it.

There are more ways of staying physically fit than there are diet books, but they often appear to involve distasteful, long workouts with ever more expensive exercise equipment that eventually ends up parked and unused under the bed. The latest " gimmicks" usually don't work; and the questionable, contradictory and even dangerous fad diets promoted often involve rapid weight loss which is unhealthy; rapidly lost weight is usually gained back just as quickly.

Alternatively you might think it necessary to waste quality time traveling to trendy fitness clubs because you have paid their outrageous membership fees. Show-off personal trainers are employed in that business specifically because they are slim and trim, and are conveniently present to ensure you feel guilty about your less than perfect physical image.

After all, if you have perfection to be compared to, you will clearly feel guilty and physically inferior; you will keep paying membership fees, and even sweat bullets to "follow the recommended program of improvement" to validate the expense, will you not?

You need NONE of the above. Really. This is worth memorizing. You need NONE of the above "manufactured" solutions to stay fit.

1. Be Kind to Yourself.
Be realistic in analyzing your personal goals and be kind to yourself. You did not get out of shape overnight, and you will not become fit overnight by abusing yourself either.
