Only under severe conditions, usually when the writer brings us a gargantuan deus ex machina would it actually be possible for Superman to lose in a fight against Batman.
Even in the heavily mentioned Frank Miller series, Superman allowed Batman to beat him. He did not kill him because of his boy scout nature.
Also, there are several Superman's floating around in the comic book universe from different parallel universes. Superman Prime is the first Superman who would execute Batman in five seconds.
Having torn the head off of one of the Teen Titans during the Infinite Crisis series, this version of Superman would have no obstructions or literary Deus ex machina stop him from not only winning a fight against Batman, but killing him also.
The second Superman, who is the oldest and weakest of the three, is still a superpowered being. Since he also seems tainted with a slight case of dementia, it would take him an additional five seconds to kill Batman.
Now, although he is a notorious do gooder and borderline saint, there have been instances where Superman was forced to act aggressively with Batman. a recent example of the was in Alex Ross's Justice series, where Batman, being controlled by nanites ( microscopic machines) attacked Superman. Superman restrained him with great ease.
If we were truly scrutinizing this question, unless the fight was previously planned, giving Batman time to get kryptonite and special computerized armor, there is no possible way that in a spur of the moment encounter Superman could ever lose.
Technically, any normal human that Superman punches, or even if wearing armor, would be turned into a kind of splattered meatball Parmesan looking concoction wherever what remained of them landed.
And yes, this includes Batman. No matter how cool he is, or how much we are predisposed to cheering for an underdog, in terms of sheer power and strength, Batman and Superman are on entirely different levels.
I mean, come on, Superman cannot be hurt bullets, what is a kick to the head from Batman going to do. Nothing, except break his leg.
Superman is the clear cut winner.
