There are many things that one can do to promote women's rights. First of all, you yourself can make sure that in all you do, you recognize women as human beings like all other human beings, and recognize their rights. This applies to both men and women, because not all those who violate women's rights are men. Sometimes women themselves violate each other's rights. For example, where female genital mutilation is practiced, it is sometimes older women afraid that the younger women will steal their husbands, who will ensure that the younger women are mutilated. They do that because the female genital mutilation makes a woman less interested in sex. It is also mostly women who will shun and pressurize those who are not mutilated into undergoing the female genital mutilation practice. Most female genital mutilation operations are actually done by women on other women.By recognizing women's rights, you will encourage others to do the same, and you will be promoting women's rights.

Another thing that people can do to promote women's rights is to donate money to organizations dedicated to the promotion of women's rights. For example, shelters for victims of domestic violence need money, food, clothes, bed linen and manpower. Those who are interested in promoting womens rights can donate all those items and professional services too. Employers can contact domestic violence shelters and offer employment to women who have lost their jobs due to running away from their abusers.

People interested in promoting women's rights can join women's rights organizations, attend seminars, conferences and other educational forums where they can learn about women's rights. Those already with knowledge can offer to educate others on women's rights. One can also look for a career in women's rights organizations where they can participate in the promotion of women's rights .

The other thing that can be done to promote women's rights is to talk to elected officials to pass laws that promote womens rights. It must be realized that it is very vital for society to promote women's rights. When women enjoy their rights, they will be a happy lot, and it is necessary for them to be a happy lot. Remember that women are the ones primarily responsible for raising children. All societies should be interested in their children being raised by happy people. Women are doing this important job of raising children in the society, and it surprising that society is not paying attention to women's rights.
