I had to eat less to lose weight. I did crave fruit and vegetables and so I made sure my meals contained them.
Famous as a chocoholic, I found I could no longer tolerate anything that was not savory. It was a huge change. However, I admit I did feel better without the confectionary.
Getting rid of stress was not so easy. I had to work at it and invent new ways of fighting it. I limited my time with people who were negative or draining. I spoke briefly on the phone. Long conversations wore me down.
I found a marvelous food supplement with every vitamin and trace element that the body requires. I went onto that and felt better immediately.
I spent a great deal of time sitting with my pet cat and stroking him. He, being affectionate, reciprocated and I felt calmer after a half an hour or more.
I made a point of going to see a movie at least once a week and often borrowed DVDs to watch at home. It helped take my mind off things negative.
I immerse myself in current events and keep abreast of them via newspaper and television programs.
I allow myself periods of inactivity to meditate. I lie on the floor and clear my mind and concentrate on the thought at hand.
It has been an uphill battle and one, thankfully that I have been winning. I do feel greatly better and more relaxed now. My face does not ache and the headaches have gone. I am able to get through an entire day without sleeping and through a night by sleeping. My body is no longer stiff and the tiredness has largely dissipated.
Best of all, the telephone has once again started to ring as my friends are talking to me!
