Testimonies: Someone you admire

There are a couple of people I admire but there is ONE in particular that I admire more than the others. My Mother In Law. I know what you are thinking. Most people can't stand their in laws especially their Mother In Laws. I on the other hand enjoy the time I get to spend with mine. She has been a big part of my life for the past seven years. She has been through a lot of my bad moments and a lot of my good moments. She has done more for me than anyone in my own family has. I love and admire her so much. Even though I am going to tell you many reasons why I love and admire her, there is one main reason, and that is because she is just herself no matter what.

The first reason I admire her is because she has the biggest heart I know. She would do just about anything she could for anyone. Yes anyone. The very first day I met her she welcomed me to the family arms wide open. She has been my mom since the first day I met her. I have to admit for the past seven years she has done more for me than my own mother. She has been there for me to cry too when something was not going good or to laugh to when something was funny. She has been through some of my most depressing moments and some of my most joyful moments. She was one of my support systems in 2002 when I went through my first adoption and then again in 2006 when I went through my second adoption. Sure she didn't really agree with them but she understood and she supported my husband and mines decision. In 2005 she was by my side when I had my son. On January 30,2005 she threw a baby shower for me at her house, which was a surprise and the first baby shower I had ever had. She went to the top to throw the most beautifulest baby shower ever. That same day she also had my husband birthday party, which I just thought was amazing that she pulled it off as well as she did. Anyways, that night at the party I went into labor and she was by my side coaching me through it and talking to me. The day my son was born she came to the hospital and she stayed until my son was born. She stood by me and held my hand the whole time I was in Labor. After my son was born she still stood by myside holding my hand till it was all done. She gave me such wonderful advice when he was a baby and still does. She has also taught me so much. I have learned a lot of good things from her. When I have a problem and need to talk I call her and sometimes I don't like what she has to say but I know in my heart she is right.

I admire her
