Manufacturers are constantly inundating the market with health foods, fitness equipment and suggestive work-out regimes. You would think the world's populace was fit-as-a-fiddled. The reality is that we are not.

There's no need to invest in pricey equipment, or purchase a gym membership to achieve and maintain good fitness.

Here are the top 10 ways to stay fit.

Walk

Walking is by far one of the best ways to stay fit. For the investment of a good pair of walking shoes, you can abide in good health year-round. Walking is beneficial to all age groups, is a form of exercise that truly doesn't feel like exercise, and is definitely the big winner for over-all fitness.

Dance

The benefits of dance include stress reduction, better body alignment, increased agility, and because of its aerobic attributes, it strengthens the heart. Additionally, hundreds of calories are burned up while dancing. So, hit the floor, and dance those unhealthy extra pounds away as you strengthen your heart.

Natural diet

When foods are processed, many of the valuable nutrients they contain are lost. Choosing natural foods over processed is a more beneficial eating style.

Relieve stress

The body is more susceptible to illness when under stress. This may include colds and minor infections to high blood pressure and atherosclerosis. In light of this, it's important to alleviate as much stress from your life as possible.

Physical activity is a very affective form of stress relief. Doing house work, going for a walk, riding s bike, and playing a few rounds of hoop with your child will do wonders to relive stress. Try writing in a journal or talking with a friend to relieve mindful stress.

Rest

Muscles that are over-worked are more susceptible to injury, and a body that is deprived of rest will end up with a weakened immune system. Be sure to get a proper night sleep to rejuvenate your system, and reduce the chances of developing chronic fatigue.

Drink water

Your body uses up a large portion of its natural fluid reserves during exercise as well as during normal every day activity. Insufficient
