3. Avoid plastic bags. Get a grocery bag that you can use every time you go shopping. Plastic bags take hundred years to disintegrate; they can't be burnt and are very harmful to marine life. Run away from them, they can only contribute to the murder of our planet.
4. Teach your kids. Children love to learn, and are very hungry for responsibility. Teaching them green habits can only be beneficial. Of course they might be told about global warming and pollution from school, but the example parents can give is just the best.

9.Think local! If you have a choice, try not to buy products that come from the other side of the planet; you don't want to load up your carbon footprint. Additionnaly, by consuming local goods, you will contribute to the economic growth of your country.
10. Share with your experience and motivation with people around you. Changing often takes time and people won't necessarily be taking the first step. Think about future generations who won't have the opportunity to see the world as we still can today. We're all in this together, and only together can we reach sustainability.
