Do executives in the nonprofit sector earn too much

Sadly to say yes they do. But why not everyone wants the piece of the pie. It doesn't matter if you are in a profit sector or a non profit sector the only difference is that there is less money to be made in a non profit sector but that doesn't mean that there is no money to be made.
You can make money doing anything.
If you couldn't people wouldn't do it.
It is money that moves people.

It is not the love of doing something just because you love to do it.
The only difference really between the profit sector and the non profit sector is that the profit sector admits its there for the money while the non profit sector is also out there for the money they just aren't honest enough to admit and no one really cares since they are out there helping people that need help.
The executives in a non profit organization know that they wouldn't make it rich working in this sector but they still make out a whole lot better then the people who come to their organizations for help and it does create jobs and anything that creates jobs is a good thing.
Jobs help everyone
Wither or not it is in the profit sector or the non profit sector.
The non profit sector has less money to work with so they need peoples help in order to help other people they are only slated so much money and no more after all every business needs money in order to stay in business and the only difference is that they don't charge the people who come to them for their services like the profit sector which charges everyone who walks through their door for what every service they are needing.
I always wondered how people working in a non profit organization got paid after all no one works for free because every one need money to live.
And executives in any company always gets paid more then the other workers they also get more perks then the others.
It is just the way life is.
They also have more stress then the others.
I wouldn't want to be an executive in any sector sure the money they make would be nice but i am not going to kill myself just so I can have more money after all you can't take it with you when you go.
