Could a single global currency work?

I don't know if it would work but it would be a really great idea. I mean why does every country need there own currency?
At the end of the day money is money no matter what currency it is.
And it would be a lot easier for all those tourist places out there and it would be easier on the tourist so its win, win.
It would also be easier on the people who book these vacations and the people who sale rooms.

Even with a computer that will convert currency from one place to another it is still a royal pain and it just takes to much time especially when the computer is slow and this person who you are trying to help keeps throughing question after question your way not bothering to give you time to find the answer to their first question (demand) before going on to the next one and then getting angry at you because you can't answer them right away or you can't give them the answer they want or you don't answer to their satisfaction.
And converting currency isn't really your job to begin with but you are doing it out of the kindness of heart because you want to give them the best service you can.
I think the only problem we would have is deciding which currency we should use and which currency we should stop using.
Everyone is going to want their currency to be used after all it is the currency they are use to and sadly to say people don't like change and this would be a major change for a lot of people.
And it could lead to war.
Less has lead to war.
Feelings will be hurt.
Countries would probable pull apart (worse case)
And how would they decide which currency to make global would they just pull it out of a hat.
Pin them all up on a wall and through a dart and which ever one it stuck to would be the currency that would be used world wide know there's a thought.
It would be more fair then putting it to a vote.
Because voting doesn't really work if you have enough money in your pocket to buy off the votes.
Plus there is always ways to rig votes so that it goes in your favorite and if that doesn't work you could always appeal to a higher power but in this case I don't know who that would be since all the heads of the countries would be voting because I don't really think that they would let the people have a say in this.
So there would really be no neutral party to step in if things get out of control.
