Is there really such a thing as the present?

Can there 'really' be such a thing as 'other' than the moment in which we are existing? There are 10^43, 10 x 10 to the 43rd power 'moments' in ONE SECOND!. Thats a ten with 43 zeros after it; 6 zeros are a million... nine zeros are a billion... twelve a trillion... get the picture? That is a 'Planck moment' (after Max Planck), and it is 10^43rd of a second. Too small to have any qualities such as 'time', and definitely too 'small' for 'motion' to happen!

Now, you really want to earn some stretchmarks on your brain? Get a load of this;

All moments that comprise the sum total of omniversal existence, from 'Bang!' to 'Dang!' exist simultaneously, every moment ever, the whole 'Planck moment' 'span' of 10^43rd of a second. That is the whole span of existence of the entire omniverse! Each moment exists as an 'independent' (discrete) quantum ('packet'). One moment doesnt 'turn into' another. No sequential 'time'. All moments (entire universes!) all exist at once. Actual life-span of the omniverse? One 'Planck moment'!

It sure doesn't look like that, though, from the 'perspective' of a mind with thought and memory perceiving from 'within' that moment, 'peeking out', though, does it? From a particular perspective, we can imagine 'motion' (like the various simultaneously existent 'frames' of a movie, all unmoving, giving the 'appearance' of motion when viewed from a 'particular perspective'...), 'time', 'linearity', 'cause and effect', 'free-will', 'choice'... all kinds of 'appearances'; none 'Real' though. They are just 'concepts' existing solely within your imagination, in your mind. Illusion, if you don't believe your perceptions and concepts to accurately reflect 'Reality', and delusion, if you do 'believe'.

I guess that the only way that you can actually not 'Be' in the moment, is if you imagine a 'past' or a 'future' and 'believe' in them (delusion) and 'think' about them and thereby 'attach' to them to the point of no longer being aware of the only moment that truly exists, NOW, unobfuscated by 'thought'... The only '-ing' relevent to the moment, NOW, is 'Being' (nature of existence), not 'doing' (illusion).

Just wrap your mind around that for a 'moment'!
