Will You copy Your Parents parenting style?

I do not think SO

1. Because, my mothers times were old times, they did not have HdTV , they did
Not have cellphone , their health system was different. People did not need this many things to live by. Lets put it this way life was not advanced.

2. And with all that I will give my children my values, values that came in me from my parents the same value with my added perception because they are my children.

3. I will like my children to have better life styles, more hardworking than before, as life in general is harder than before. They will learn this from me as I have lived a harder life than my parents.

4. Today's life style teaches us to be Authoritative and not Authoritarian, to the children and in my parents time many parents were controlling the kids.

5. Eating habits of today's society is entirely different than my parents time. Now I have to make sure when my children grow they may eat vegetables all the time with their lunch and dinner. Very few children ate vegetables in my parents time. As a parent I have to make sure that my children grow up to be healthy, and strong not obese and liable to get diabetes or cancer or heart disease. Which is happening to the older generation a lot.

6. Education, and work, Seeing children today many mothers are trying to work from home as working from home is becoming so popular every eleven minutes a person signs up to work from home. Therefore, less child care, and what is going to be the result. Your children will grow up to be what you want them to be and not completely the product of a school as a mass production.

7.Since, today everyone cares for children more than before, and children have all the choices to do what they want to do, my children will turn out to be happier and balanced children, that was not the case in the past.

8. My parents time , people were not so forgiving, and children used to confide in their groups and do not intermingle. This is not the case today. We are realizing the power of seeing all kind of people together, be friends with them and make them a part of our life.

9. Because we are giving our children independence and choice of decision making from the very beginning they want to live life with ease in their own way, they will not accept what our parents did to us. So why use it, it will not work.

10. From breast feeding to baby food to diapers to potty training to schools, every thing has changed and so are parents view about parenting. Therefore, it is going to be very hard for me to follow my parent for growing my children.

Where ever you see there is improvement, and I want my children to learn all these new improvements that humans are making and live life to its best and therefore, my children might learn a few thing from me that are in me naturally, but when it comes to realdecision making their future and best life I have to keep in my mind.
