It appears that negativity has taken over positivity, in this world. The English language is overflowing with such dramatic words and could be an inspiration to how we appear to others in the public eye. Some negativity causes us to go under the knife at the surgeon's table or to murder our own bodies. There is the dark side to our language. Such words bring hate, fear, and depression to our souls.
These words are most often heard from others, such as the people we were brought up by, or the people we work with. A mother easily introduces negativity to her child(ren) if that is what she has been brought up with, by her mother. When we think about the negativity, it is not necessarily the words itself, but the labels we place behind those words. We learn to prepare ourselves for the "worst scenario", but then we forget that we should think of the best scenario, and not even imagine negativity.
Step 1: Use the word when, not if. By using the word "If", you are doubting the chance of the outcome you were looking for. By stating "When", there is such a higher chance that you will motivate yourself to an outcome, the outcome you want. It will happen, even by three years from now, it WILL happen, not "If" it will happen, but "When" it will.
Step 2: Inner Beauty recap. You ARE beautiful on the outside AND on the inside, no matter what those pesky high school students drilled into your brain. They were very unhappy with themselves, so they use negativity to put you down, attempting to make themselves feel better. Negativity behaviour could make you appear to have low self-esteem issues. Think positive and show confidence. This attracts people to you, not away from you.
Step 3: Become friends with all races, cultured, and religious people. This will help you to get rid of the negativity because you will be around all shapes, sizes, and colour. You will learn that by being negative, nothing becomes accomplished, and by insulting that African woman does NOT make you any prettier.
Step 4: Don't compare! That girl on the cover of Cosmo Magazine was edited. Don't think you are supposed to have flawless skin, a button nose, perfect eyebrows, pouty lips and the whole works. Be happy with you and how you feel! We are all unique in this world, and we need to accept our bodies for what they are.
Positivity will take effort and time, but work on it and you will be a master at this, just like anything you put your mind and heart to. Pay attention to what is going on in your life and in the world today. Smile, and remember, if you have nothing good to say, don't say it at all.
