China, famous for many wonders including the Great Wall, is a country worth visiting. It attracts millions of tourists around to probe the charming places every year. Since there are so many places, it is wise for the first-time tourists to know some basic guides by the experienced travelers. If you want to pay a visit to China, there is something that you need to prepare for your travel.
First, prepare the luggage for your trip. Before your trip, you need to check the weather in China, in order that you can pick out the right clothes for your trip. Since China is a large country, and the climate varies from place to place, you may need to change your clothes accordingly. Of course, you can prepare one suit, and buy some clothes in China, too. Just make sure that you get prepared for the possible dramatic changes of the temperature there. In spring, the north of China may see snows, while in the south, you can see flowers blooming. Therefore, you may have to change clothes from place to place.
Second, you need to buy a map of China, so that you can have a clear idea about where you go and you can plan your trips in China well. It can save you a lot of time, if you can arrange your trips in a right order. Also, you can find a guide or join a tourist group. Peoples there are willing to offer help, and you can trust most of them. Why not find some friends who have been there and seek some suggestions from them?
Third, why not learn to speak some Chinese, such as "xie xie", which means "thank you". This is a good way to bring you closer to the people there. It will make your journey with more fun. Smiles will be one of the rewards of your efforts. What's more, it would be very useful when traveling there. When you want to buy something or go to the toilet, it would be much easier if you know some Chinese characters.
Fourth, prepare some medicine, which is necessary for your trip, such as anti flu pills, pain relievers, and so on. It will help you to enjoy the trips more, and you can keep away from diseases. One of the reasons is that some of the viruses there are different from the ones you are used to, so you are more likely to get infected - this is the case that you have to face when you are travelling around the world.
