Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you all for coming by.

I am happy to announce today that I am throwing my hat into the presidential race. I am not running as a republican. I am not running as a democrat. I am running as an independent write in candidate. I am not interested in the politics the democrat candidates are putting forth. I am not in agreement with the spineless republicans who refuse to stand up for their beliefs. Therefore, I am this day, declaring my independence from both parties.

The old two party system is broken. The democrats have been taken over by the Marxists, while the republicans cannot decide whether they are conservative or liberal. I feel that most Americans share some values of both parties and are tired of the agendas being driven by the polar ends of the political spectrum. It is time for common sense to be brought into the political process, and I am the candidate to do so.

The people of the United States are a strong, moral, and industrious people. They are overtaxed, over regulated, over worked, under paid, and spend their weeks trying to figure out how to feed the family and hold on to their jobs. Increasingly the government is invading their lives and taking more money and more freedoms from them everyday. It is time for this to end!

Given the opportunity, the people of the United States will achieve greatness. Greatness is something that is in the spirit of every citizen in the nation. Whenever we run across a problem, our industriousness and ingenuity always finds a way to overcome. When we are faced with a threat, we band together to protect our own. When we see others in trouble, we reach out and help them.

It is the bonds of freedom that tie us together in this great nation. It is that freedom that allows us to achieve the greatness that we have. Increasingly, our freedoms are being eroded. They are being eroded, both by legislation and by taxation. We need to have the government get out of our lives and get out of our pocketbooks so that the American people can be free to achieve the American dream.

Our future generations are counting on us to hand them a better future than the one we had. I am afraid that the way things are going now, we will be handing down to the next generations to come, a country that is on the decline. As our freedoms shrink away, so does our greatness. We need to free the people, free them to build, to invent, to invest, to manufacture, to start new businesses, to passionately follow their dreams, with no drag put upon them to hinder them.

If I am elected President, I vow I will do all that I can to restore true freedom to this nation and to allow each individual to achieve greatness based on their own desire to do so. There is nothing that a free people cannot achieve. Vote for me this November, Mr. Bus Driver. Thank you and God bless America!
