In all honesty, there is no easy way to make money in Runescape. If you are willing to put time into skills, however, you can make some pretty decent money.
Runecraft:
Runecraft isn't the best way to make money, unless you're a member. I wouldn't try to make your entire living off of this.
The first thing you need to make some money by Runecraft is rune essence. This is easy enough to get. Anyone who has finished to Rune Mysteries quest can mine it (the quest won't be explained in depth here). After you have mined the essence (ess as it is usually called by sellers and buyers) you can either make runes out of it, or sell it. Selling it can get you more money faster, but if you are a member, in the long run, if you Runecraft, you will make more money over all. If you are a member once you get to level thirty-five, you can start making some pretty good money. At this level, you can start making chaos runes. People need these for magic and are willing to pay. You should probably sell them directly to people or in the Grand Exchange. Once you get to level 54 (if you are a member) you can start raking in the cash. At this level you can start making law runes, which people need to teleport and use telekinetic grab. Laws sell really well and when coupled with the demand, if you make a lot, you're going to make some real money.
Fishing:
Fishing is a good way to make money if you have a high enough level. Level forty is the best level to start making money. At this level, you can start fishing lobsters. These are bought for about 200 gp (gold pieces) each when cooked. So if you have a full load of cooked lobsters you can sell them for at least 5600gp. That's more than 5.5k! For just one load! It just gets better at level fifty. This is the level at which you can start fishing for swordfish. I'm not sure what the average price for swordies (as they are usually called) sell for each, but I can usually get anywhere from 350gp to 400gp. That means for a full load you can get from 9.8k to 11.2k. So for a full load, you can get somewhere around 10k! Like I said, I'm not sure of the average price and they prices are constantly fluctuating, so don't be discouraged if you can't sell swordfish for that high of a price. One really good thing about fishing though is that it provides the food that restores the most health. People pay good money for that. And the best thing is that there always a constant demand. At pretty much any time of any day, you could find someone, somewhere who wants to buy some fish.
This is about it for this guide. Be on the look-out for more.
