SILENT EYES
Go to town
See the people of society
The socialites and popular people
Going about their business without a care
They can't see the dark side
Watching from the sidelines
Observing, thinking
What it could have been like
The wind whips round me
The buzz of people fills the streets
Yet here I am alone
Time has passed me by
The forgotten one
Got left behind and buried
By the sands of time
One day they will bury me
A phantom of my past
And submit me to vast darkness
But they will not even know my name
I sit on my lonely bench
My social trench
The only survivor of a lost world
Who must walk the world alone
But in actual fact, I didn't have a choice
Born by default into a life of guaranteed damnation
Misery, pain and anxiety
The three watchwords of a life unfulfilled.

Being a loser is what I fear.
Always trying but, getting nowhere.
Sitting on this porch I'm reminiscing,
On how you're gone
