Breastfeeding is best for a few reasons. First of all I have two children, my son is three and I nursed him until he was about 14 months old. He was the best baby. He always slept all night long. He never cried, it was amazing how awesome he was. He was completely in love with me because I was the only one that could fulfill that need. Then I had my daughter, I nursed her until she was 2 months and had to stop due to an illness. I have both views on breastfeeding or bottle. I have to say breastfeeding is best and here is why. Now im not saying on some points that it isn't nice to have your husband feed your child or even be able to call the babysitter and not have to worry if your going to be able to pump enough. On the other hand when my son needed to eat in the middle of the night I didn't ever have to get up at 3 am and make a bottle. There's no warming the milk, its already at the perfect temperature in your breast. There's no cleaning of the bottles or buying the bottles. You have a Priceless relationship with your baby when you nurse. I can't even tell you how awesome it is to be nursing your baby and have them look at you like there just in awe. They know when there upset and mommy is right there, that its time to eat. Another thing that is awesome about breastfeeding, is your baby is NEVER going to be allergic to your milk. There is no such thing as a constipated breastfed baby. It helps in so many ways in the long run too. Like obesity, studies show that breastfed babies have a less likely chance to be obese later in life. Also everything your baby needs is in breast milk. Read a formula can next time your in the grocery store. It says right on the can "breastfeeding is the best choice for your baby." Thats why the big deal with the formula makers is to get the closest to breast milk. I think that every women should breast feed if possible. If you cant I understand because I'm unable to nurse my daughter, but you should at least nurse the first two weeks of life. The reason I say this is because the colostrum that first comes out is really important for your little one. It helps with there immune system. Last but no least is the best reason to nurse, ITS FREE. You don't have to pay for anything. It never runs out a 2 am. You don't ever have to worry about the cost or switching to the best. You already are giving your baby the best. I have had so many women look at me like I'm crazy when I talk about nursing. Girls now days think its gross to have a child suckle on your breast. I don't get that one. God did not create breast for your husband to play with them. They were created for your baby.
