Essays: War in Iraq

How terrible I feel when I think of a government that has controlled the minds of the masses, and has convinced them to engage themselves in a war that really is not a war at all. They said it would not be a another Vietnam and here we are five years later still there still protecting the bushes interest, or more of an investment that is being paid for by the lives of our children, and those who have suffered at the hands of the American government.

How much longer before the American people stand up and open there eyes to the lies that they keep preaching at us, there were never any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, they have not found a shred of evidence to submit to you the people, they are there for the oil we all know it, and yet we still go on living like there's no tomorrow, but for so many there is no more tomorrow.

What would you do if we were attacked by a foreign country? Would you lay down and let them control you the way the American government polices the planet? Or would you rise to the occasion even if it meant your life.
Personally I would kill as many as I could and what would they call me? An insurgent. I would fight for you and my children and my country without a thought as to whether I would be killed or not.
We as Americans have a different enemy, one that lives among us and controls everything you hear and we all know what that is, its the media. They constantly bombard you with lies as to the truth of the real agenda of the bush administration. I recently watched a video circulated by a city bus driver that basically proves that the twin towers were professionally destroyed from explosives, I have to admit that I fell right into there deception and bought into all there lies, for this I am guilty.

I am Guilty of feeling the hatred that they exposed to us on a hour to hour basis, planting there seeds of hate on a people we never even met, telling you to hate, so they may use us all as puppets, and destroy so many souls, including our own children. What more can you pay? $5.00 A gallon, is this what the blood of our children cost is worth? (sad)! yes.

My nephew came home from school today and announced he is going to join the army when he turns eighteen, the soldiers were at his school preaching how wonderful the army is, my nephew is twelve years old, our military went to a grade school recruiting today, and that brings tears to my eyes, why would they be at a grade school? Unless they had plans for the near future.
