I'm not sure what I'm going to write in order to get 350 words, because the answer is very simple. The bible is NOT outdated nor is it irrelevant, but that is what Satan would have you believe. Another tactic that the great deceiver is using based on people trying to be "too smart for God". Think of it this way my friend. The Bible begins with, "In the beginning God". That's the first 4 words. Now, after that it goes on to read that He created the Heavens and the Earth by merely speaking them into existence. Anybody that can boldly say that the creator of everything that we see, feel, taste, hear, and smell, and that created all of it by merely speaking it, (I've made this sentence so long that I have to refocus it, but I'm not deleting any words because I need to make 350 words!) Anybody that can say that a God that can do all of that, can't keep His Word true and relevant, is a fool. Don't you think that if God can give you the world that you live in by speaking it, that he can get his Word translated accurately. Yes, it was translated by man, and men make mistakes, but, I for one, believe every word of my bible, and my bible tells me that my God will never leave nor forsake me. If that is to be true, then His Word must be His Word, because if not, I have nothing to go by, and I've had too many "coincidences" happen, for me to believe that God doesn't exist. Too many times has God spoke to me and said, "Hey, read verse so and so" and I look it up, and it relates perfectly to how I'm feeling, or answers a question that I have. Now don't view this as, "You're talking to yourself and you remember a verse that you read before!", because most of these verses I speak of, I don't remember them, I'm terrible at remembering chapter and verse numbers.

(It appears that I need even more words before I can submit this article, so I think I'll ramble on within these parenthesis for a while, because my answer to the question required nothing other than saying, "If God can speak everything into existence, He can keep His Word True, even if that means using us imperfect men as translators" hope that's enough words now!)

I've said all of this just to say, God is real, the bible is not outdated, Jesus loves you.
