Cleaning is quite a boring chore that needs regular attention to keep a home looking good. As life is always busy with commitments to work, home, family and friends there is often other things that take priority. Free time for busy moms does not exist. Therefore, we need to make the most of any quick and easy tips for cleaning and keeping a house neat and tidy.

Tip 1: A clutter free home is easier to clean and keep clean.
As kids grow out of clothing, games and books you need to move these prized possessions on to other kids of that age group that will appreciate and use them. When you replace an appliance get rid of the old one. Don't let used, broken, outdated or replaced items hang around the house taking up space and filling up with dust. It makes it difficult to clean if you need to pick up or move items to do the job right.

Tip 2: Allocate a place for everything.
Everyone in the household should know where the dirty laundry basket is and use it. Toys need there storage space and clothes need there hanging area. Clothes, shoes, school bags, books and toys should have predetermined storage areas and children should be responsible for putting their own things away.

Tip 3: Select appliances and equipment
Buy and use appliances and equipment that have time saving features as well as economical to use.
An automatic washing machine with a drying cycle can be invaluable as a time saving device. A hand held food processor or blender is a great time saving kitchen tool for chopping, blending and food preparation.

Tip 4: Use products that repel stains.
Buy cleaning products that clean, deodorize and repel stains. These keep your cleaning efforts looking better for longer. They also make cleaning easier.

Tip 5: Use microfiber cleaning cloths

Tip 7: When cooking
If you keep a bowl of water and soak saucepans and cooking utensils after they are used they will take little effort to wash clean after a meal. If you let food dry on pans and utensils it is harder to remove. Consider lining your baking dish with bake paper before baking potatoes or roast.

A clean house will provide you and your family with a feeling of pride and satisfaction. Be on the look out for new ways of doing routine chores and cutting down on your work load. Everyone in a household should be responsible in keeping the home clean, neat and tidy. Don't neglect your chores as the longer they are left unattended the more difficult and time consuming the task becomes.
