My Dear
I saw you,
In a dream, My Dear.
In a dress of white you stood,
Upon a sandy beach, though where,
I am not sure.
I watched you,
Watching me, My Dear.
For that moment, eternity,
Till you smiled, dipped your head,
And turned to leave.
I heard,
As you went, My Dear.
Whispers of songs on the wind,
You sung, a mellow tune,
Though I could not make out the words.
I tried to catch you,
My Dear.
But your stride, it was too strong
And I soon fell behind, till I woke.
Your questioning eyes,
Your content smile,
These are all that remain with me,
Of that restless night,
My Dear.

you said, come on, this is our destiny
and I followed
