Moreover, if you are consistent in this, you could even become contagious and a brilliant motivator amongst your peers.

To avoid or lessen the effects of stress before you present, you must find a way to improve your mood, especially if you are very tense and nervous beforehand. While it is normal to get anxious before a presentation, the best presenters find ways to overcome it. One proven technique is to try deliberately forcing yourself to smile before your crucial confrontation. The way the mind works is that it notices the patterns in your facial features (physiognomy) and reflects your actual mood accordingly. So if you are smiling, pretty soon, you will feel happy. Now if you walk into a meeting frowning, your performance would be even worst. Try this the next time you are doing a presentation or going to a critical meeting.
