Anyone who loves sports, or even working outdoors, is going to love the Aquamira water bottle and filtration system. When I first heard about it, I was a little hesitant to spend the money. I knew that I needed a good resuable water bottle system, but I wasn't sure that I wanted to spend $20 on one. Then I looked at the prices of some of the other systems, and I decided to give it a shot.

The system comes with a 22 ounce plastic water bottle, with an attachable filter. I checked with a friend, and this is the perfect size to fit in a standard water bottle holder on his bike. I love cycling, but I don't usually carry a water bottle with me. This one is more for me to use when hiking, or even running errands around town.

The filter though is the part I really love.

The carbon filter on this water bottle fits right over the top of the bottle, and the filter works while you're drinking. I just fill up the bottle in the morning, and drink from it all day, then refill it when I run out. The only problem I had was that sometimes it can be a little hard to actually get water out of the bottle. I like being able to pour water right into my mouth, not suck it out of the bottle. On the other hand though, the filter makes the water taste fresher and cleaner than it would right out of the tap.

For $20 you get a water bottle and filter that will last for 200 refills. Considering what I would pay for that many bottles of water in the store, this was a great deal for me! If you're a cyclist, or just an outdoor lover, than you are going to love this water bottle. You can easily refill the bottle anywhere you need, from the faucet in your own house, to a river along the trail. My only recommendation is to make sure you rinse out the water bottle as often as possible, and after every use if you can. This will keep your water tasting fresh and clean for the duration of the bottle.
