Poetry: Moon glow

Luna's Destiny

Amidst sea's ocean spray belongs a moonlit glow
Her man has lent his beams to support her tonight
There's a woman in the moon; thought you would like to know
Glistening path of silvery glints that glow white
Dreams that share a memory's gorgeous scene of light

Sunset's myriad of blossoms blanket our sky
Palette's spectrum of such warmth stops at Orion's belt

Clearly holds sentiment; Lady Luna confides
Mineral salt massages; steamy bubble bath felt
While surrounding her body; sensuously, he knelt

Distance spans what's left of when the moon began to fade
Shreds Dignity's strongest form of it's Identity
There is nothing that understands this kind of delay
Hold firmly onto the familiarity
Keeping such things as personal Integrity

Drenched from head to toe in moonlight; often she basked
In borrowed beams that she used to sneak out on a lot
Mystical sky scape that sparkles with her next task
The tides begin to rise without hesitating flaws
Breathes life within by choosing exactly when to pause

Curfew approaches dawn; he awaits her return
Time slips from her young mind; returning to her home
Never expecting him to scorn; a lesson is learned
Watching the waves as they crashed to the sand as foam
While thinking that she will be forever alone

Nobody is as lucky to touch star wishes
Illuminated by moonbeams; her pale moon gives
Puts hope unto lassos with golden sewn stitches
A reason to have a pot-of-gold to believe in
Luna's night sky, emotions to shimmer once again
