The MacBook Pro won a lot of hype for its meticulous design and maximum performance. Its tiny size deemed it the "cute" little laptop and it is little indeed, weighing in at only 5.4 pounds! Though this notebook is small in stature, it's a powerhouse on the inside with great capabilities and sturdy features.
The Pro features an advanced keyboard with new multi-touch technology. You can navigate through photos, enlarge text, or adjust images with the mere touch of a finger. The full size keypad has a built-in light sensor that adjusts keyboard and display brightness according to low-light settings such as conference rooms or airplanes.
Some of the most noteable Pro features are the new Intel Core duo processors that run at groundbreaking speeds up to 2.6 GHz and the graphics processor that holds 512 MB of video memory. Even the power cord is a great feature on this beauty! The power adapter is created with a MacSafe connector, using a magnetic connection instead of a physical one. So the next time you trip over your power cord, you won't send your computer crashing to the floor. Instead, the cord will just pull away and your computer will be safe!
The MacBook Air brings the Pro's great features in an even tinier casing. There is a full-size computer inside 3 pounds of sleek beauty. Yet for all Mac's compromise to get this petite size, they do not sacrifice their one of a kind display quality or full-size keyboard.
The Air comes standard with 2 GB of RAM memory built into its modern design. The 80 GB hard drive gives you plenty of room to work, but you can even upgrade to a 64 GB drive with no moving parts for better durability.
Because it's so tiny, MacBook Air has a custom-built, thin microchip responsible for the 1.8 GHz Intel Core Duo processor. The battery is even built slimmer, but still gets you a great five hours of wireless productivity!
The most exciting feature of MacBook Air, which sets it apart from its Pro cousin is the built-in iSIGHT camera. It is so geniusly designed that won't even realize it's there, but this feature makes video chatting easy anywhere you can access a wireless network.
Whether you choose the MacBook Air or the MacBook Pro, you can be confident that you are getting a great computer. These sleek little notebooks offer fantastic technology is ground-breaking size and designs.
