Poetry: Facing life

by Imogen Rayne

Created on: February 26, 2008

Never let their judgments matter,
You are not here to flatter.

Grab a hold of your dreams,
Steal the spotlight or the screen,

Write that novel about your life,
God will help you deal with strife.

Instead, hold you head up high,
Follow dreams and do not be shy.

Your character will always show,
Mistakes allow you to grow.

Let everyone see you smile,
Always try to go the extra mile.
