The sanctuary is an ideal spot for walking, birding, and watching the sun set over the salt marsh and bay. Hosted by the The Audubon Society are naturalist-led wildlife tours around the Cape, which include trips to the Monomoy Islands, year-round. There are bay cruises, bird, wildlife, and insect walks, hikes, snorkeling; winter seal cruises; and canoe and kayak trips. The sanctuary also has camps for children in July and August and week long field schools for adults. Vacation rentals and bed and breakfasts are nearby for your convenience.

I am forever grateful that I answered the beckoning call of these nature-filled destinations. The fantastic beauty refreshed my soul.
