Want to know a secret? Celebrities have hair problems the same as non-famous people. Many celebs couldn't blow dry their own hair if their life depended on it. However they have a few ingenious ways of dealing with them.
Celebs who can't find a hair stylist when they need one, resort to fashion accessories like hats and scarves. Celebrity magazines are full of candid photos of stars and paparazzi fodder wearing baseball caps, cowboy hats and scarves.
It may look like they're trying to fit in with the common man or travel incognito but really they're covering their hair. Catch sight of a celeb getting off a long plane flight and you'll see that make-up and hair is not their forte.
Wigs are another way to hide hair that would otherwise put them straight on the worst dressed list. They make a person look instantly fantastic. Tyra Banks, Halle Berry and Vanessa Williams renowned beauty has not come about through only their facial features. They depend on a variety of high quality wigs for specific looks.
The other secret that celebs keep up their sleeve or rather their personal assistant's is having a hairstylist on speed dial. These hairstylists often travel with them when attending a big function, premiere or red carpet awards show. They may even be their personal hair stylist on a movie set.
Some hair stylists become a celebrity themselves through their A-list clientele. Ken Paves is one of Hollywood's high profile hair stylist through his famous clients like Oprah, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Lopez and Celine Dion. Through his work relationship with Simpson he's brought clip-on hair extensions to the mass market.
Hair stylists use all manner of techniques that can only be done properly by a professional stylist. Colors, cuts, styles, hair extensions and wig pieces are all part of the process that goes into making a celebrity look as if they were born with a crowning glory from the gods.
Similar to models, celebrities are blank canvases that employ a group of people to give them that star quality. Yes even the heir-head Paris wouldn't look so Paris without her entourage.
Award ceremony red carpet shows have become promotional appearances for dress designers, stylists, make-up and hair artists. The secret to celebrities hair care is it's a business.
