Seductive styles coupled with fresh flowing fabric. The spring/summer 2008 collection offers a variety of comfort, and choice for the fashion conscious consumer.

With the harsh unflattering trends of 2007 slipping off into the distance, the new fresh, vibrant and wearable trends are sure to put a smile back on the stylish ladies of Rio Grande Valley.

Top season fabrics such as sensual silk, luxurious lace, and carefree chiffon add elegance to the savvy styles hitting the stores. Key techniques employed by designers enriching their craft include, layering, tiering and hand painted embellishments. Fashion will return to the art form inspiring young and old to seek out these seasons "must haves".

Clothes see the reinvention of individuality as hand painted flowers and designs are now embellished on garments. Prints such are a must this season. Tribal, tropical, or floral imagery are used to accentuate outfits bringing diversity to the stage. Correct palette choice is a key to this seasons look. A color report set out by Pantone Fashion, indicates that for Spring/ Summer 2008, top season colors to swoon for include; Golden Olive, Spring Crocus, Rococco Red, Pink Mist, Croissant, Freesia, Cantaloupe, Daiquiri Green, Snorkel Blue and Silver Gray.
Dresses will become a key staple to every woman's wardrobe. Be it for formal work attire or Sunday brunch with the girls the dress is warm weather's top trend.

Maxi dresses and skirts both made there reintroduction to the fashion scene in 2007. This year's style however, is a closer cut version allowing better adaptability to the more curvaceously blessed lady in comparison to its counterpart. Pleats and ruffles complement this bohemian inspired style. Roberti Cavali envisaged the Grecian Goddess with pale neutral tones balanced by loose fitting vest tops in sheer fabric for effortless style.

Rio Grande Valley citizens are blessed with a warmer climate all year round. This lavishing thought does not however withstand from the duties of considering classy work attire. Designers such as Alexandre Mc Queen took inspiration from the working class woman when cultivating his deigns. Asymmetrical imagery and cuts attribute in great strengths when considering work attire. Pencil Skirts hit the runway in the masses, falling either slightly above or below the knee.
