Best blogs on the US election 2008

Indecision 2008 is the best presidential election blog, without a doubt. Why? Because its by Comedy Central, and nothing makes a better butt of a joke than a politician. But, all kidding aside, even though its humorous doesn't mean its not informative. Remember in 2004? A survey taken showed that those who relied on Comedy Centrals "The Daily Show" for news, were more informed than viewers of any other news show on both the issues and the candidates of that presidential election. So, that's my #1 pick for Best 2008 presidential election blogs. You can visit Indecision 2008 for a chuckle or information on the upcoming election and the candidates at

In second place for best 2008 election blogs is the New York Times 2008 Elections. Not nearly as funny as my first pick though, especially today's headline about Obama supporters worrying he could end up like Martin Luther King or Robert F. Kennedy. Jeez with supporters like that, who needs hecklers? But, seriously if he doesn't pick Hillary to be his V.P. I don't think that he'll end up like either Kennedy did, or like Ronald Reagan almost did. The New York Times offers full coverage of the candidates, the debates, expert analysis, upcoming events...just about everything you could possibly want to know about the presidential race. For third place I pick a blog that isn't affiliated with the corporate media like Comedy Central and New York Times. This blog is by a self admitted political junkie who calls himself Whitey Blackwell. It's not as flashy or bogged down with so much info that you forget what your doing like the first two. It's not as funny as Comedy Centrals is, but he does have a joke section. I recommend this blog to anyone who just wants to know what his fellow American is thinking about the election process and the candidates in the running. You can visit Whitey Blackwell's "2008 Election Coverage" blog at this web address: http://www.chml-srucnoc.net/
