Universal Studios Hollywood, Los Angeles, California

Having lived in Tampa, Florida, I was already familiar with the theme park Universal Studios there. But now as to the real place home of the movie stars, Jeb Clampet's and Universal magic well what exactly do I know? They didn't make the Wizard of Oz there did they?

As identified on their website: " Universal Studios Hollywood is a unit of Universal Parks & Resorts, a division of Universal Studios, a part of NBC Universal." Continuing with more important information: "Formed in May of 2004 through the combining of NBC and Vivendi Universal Entertainment, NBC Universal owns and operates a valuable portfolio of news and entertainment networks, a premier motion picture company, significant television production operations, a leading television stations group, and world-renowned theme parks."

All right what's my point outside of always wanting to show my new talents, paste and copy by the way, Universal Studios, Hollywood is owned by big money. There is nothing left in that country that isn't owned by conglomerates. What you see at Universal in Hollywood is probably what you will see at Universal in Tampa. The days of the magic of Hollywood is gone I tell you, done.

Of course they do hand you the carrot. Come to Universal Studios and who knows what fantastic, awe inspiring rehashed hash of part film greats you will find being actually really filmed and all that. The only thing they have that other film sites might have is like props. Think of all the studios that we used to sit and gape at like Paramount, all of them gone.
Universal Studios boasts the filming of Meet the Fockers, Jurassic Park,A Beautiful Mind, Beverly Hills 90210, Back to the Future. With such a resume who wouldn't want to see the place that made all that happen. Not to mention the rides. Although some of the rides do have height restrictions. That must be why people go to Universal Studios, Hollywood, to ride and to catch the filming of another blockbuster hit movie. Really now when you're on vacation with kids and wives, you need activities else you will have a disgruntled pack on your hands.
