The importance of effective communication skills

TODAY have more complexes than teenagers 15 years ago.It is easier for them to write in a forum than to speak in reality looking at those they are speaking to.This is a burning problem for today.

One more problem of bad communication skills is study by correspondence.I am a teacher and face this problem very often.

I had a student. Before his entering the university he studied English by correspondence. He did all assignments given by his virtual teacher. He succeeded in writing skills for which he got high grades and finished the course successfully. But when we met first,he couldn't answer simple questions. Why,you ask me,-he was good at the virtual course of English,he couldn't have failed the simple question?!Yes,he did!Because he didn't hear a lively speech with sounds and intonation, with question scales and emotions.Theoretically,he knew the answers, but in practice he couldn't say a word because he was afraid of his own voice! His voice that moment existed separately from his face! That is why he asked me to give him time for writing the answers on paper!

The lack of intercommunication leads to defeat. If you cannot express your opinion loudly, only on paper, you will never be a good public speaker because of your shyness,self-reservation and many other factors which don't let us open ourselves the way we feel.

If to tell about effective writing, again the lack of knowledge doesn't let us do it.If we don't read much,if we never use new words,if we don't speak to others without a wish to know different opinions,we will never rich what we eager to rich.

The conclusion is simple:buy a book, not the virtual one, smell it,touch it,look through illustrations, show to your friends, share opinions, and then start reading! The magic of a story will take you there where you have never been before. After, make notes of your favorite pages, try to memorize the most interesting phrases in order to show your intelligence to others, retell the story to your friend, like your voice finally!

You will see how wonderful it can be-when somebody wants to listen to you because you are an interesting person who can make somebody get interested in what you are speaking about and your way of doing it!
