First Lady. Many of her plans while in office have been overlooked due to her trailing in the polls. What Obama is preaching, was pledged first by McCain and Hillary, yet with twist of zest and popularity. We aren't voting for our high-school president, we are voting for a real, serious, important occupation.
Clinton can remind the American public that she had grace and style while under pressure with the Monica Lewinsky scandal. She may remind the public that she has written and sold several best selling books, and she is nearly twenty years older than her opponent. We need a President that is willing to take charge, and lead. The seat of the Presidency needs to be seated with intelligence and brawn. With Hillary, we gain not one supreme political leader, but we get two. Bill, having done the job himself for eight years, can be effectual as a 'First Gentleman'.
Hillary may refer back to years of governmental service, while Obama has a mere seven Senate years. The office of the President used to be held in high regard, as a job that would be placed in only the most capable hands. Hillary surpasses the age requirement of the Presidency by twenty-five years. Barack, by a mere ten years. Not too much experience for someone applying to the most powerful job in the US. Hillary has also been living in America throughout her life, while Obama spent years in Indonesia, and seems focused on his African father's ethnicity than that of America. Experience is not a hindrance in this situation.
But with Obama being such a good speaker, how will Hillary have a chance? Because the Presidency is not built on words alone, action is needed to take America to the heights that may only be reached with the no nonsense attitude that Hillary will be bringing to town. I am also quite sure that the Joint Chiefs do not give a damn how orally efficient one is when in the midst of a crisis in the Situation Room. She has done it before and she will do it again, and perhaps, Obama will have the time that he needs to evolve into a far more accomplished applicant for the next term. It seems that Hillary should remind folks that it is she that has the experience, while Obama still has much to learn.
