A Politically Correct World is a Dream

If you mean can Democracy survive in a politically correct world, meaning everyone must be a Democracy, then no. How can it? We are all independent thinkers. All the countries of the world have their own history and their own way of thinking, all for their own reasons. There are people, human beings in this world, it is not made up of robots. Everyone has a mind and thinks differently from one another. We must accept it.

If we force Democracy on the world, for their best, because we decided to, then no one has understood a Democratic government. We, as Americans have the privilege of our government because we chose for it. We fought the Revolutionary War for one thing, in order to keep our independence. And we fought it well and hard, because that is what being an American is. This is not something we can make other countries or force them to accept it for their good, because we say so. We are not the world's boss.

But not everyone in our world is living like us, sharing our history because they have their own. And they are proud of who they are, even though we may strongly disagree with them. It is our right to disagree but we must let them have their choice of the way they live, just as we have had our choice of government. As great of a country as we are, we are not perfect, there are things in country to attend to. The truth is, if we were all a Democracy government, we would still have wars and chaos. It would not stop countries from developing nuclear weapons and threatening another country from time to time. Our world is wonderful but perfect it is not.

We would fight to the death to defend our freedom to chose and protect our government. Other countries feel the same way, understandably. So, we need to stop forcing our ideas on other countries and people and learn to live with them. We need to understand how they live, about their history. We all, as a whole in this world, need to show more respect for each other.

And America could serve a greater purpose to many people if we find something else to do, besides being the world police. One thing we could do, like solve our own problems in our country, there are too many issues left, waiting to get attention.

In the end, is there ever really a politically correct world anymore than there can ever be a perfect Utopia? We should give up making others do as we think they should and accept with respect, the people they are and learn to get along together.
