Property managers, or potential property managers are always on the lookout for the next big thing. They know that they cannot get by with only a few properties in one specific location, but rather need a diverse portfolio of different properties. This ensures that they are continually making a profit, and always have a place that travelers will want to rent. These days the travel industry is constantly changing, but some things remain constant. The property managers who can find locations that have year round activities are the most successful managers.

One such location is Barbados. Barbados is an excellent choice because the owner does not have to live on site, or even in the same country to own property. It is fairly easy to find local help to watch over the property throughout the year, and make period visits if needed. Barbados has warm temperatures nearly all year long, and some gorgeous views. The only dangers property managers face is when a tropical storm hits, but some have learned how to escape that problem. By training site managers to prep the home for a storm, and carefully document any damage, they can keep their property in great shape for years to come.

Burgundy, France is another year round travel destination that is catching the eye of some property managers. This area is typically seen as one of the bargain destinations in France, especially in terms of home ownership. The country makes it very easy for international investors to buy property all across the country, but Burgundy has some of the best bargains. This city has a rustic and old world feel, but its location makes it a popular choice for travelers.

Costa Maya and the Dominican Republic both offer some great year round properties as well. These areas have tropical temperatures, gorgeous views, and bring to mind a lush resort type feeling. They are also increasingly popular with American tourists looking to get away from it all for a few days, weeks, or even months. These two areas are also rapidly growing in terms of property values, but there are still some great deals to be found especially in the outlying areas.

It seems as though the best deals for property managers are in foreign locations, but this adds to their appeal. It's also worth noting that these locations are also some of the most popular for American tourists.
