overseen the evolution process, and then created man.
"I can tell you what you are feeling based on the subconscious movements of your body," says the smug scientist.
"But can you tell me exactly what I am thinking of?," asks the proud minister.
"Well, I can tell you what happens to the human body after it dies," the scientist nagged arrogantly.
"But can you tell me what happens to that human's soul?," the minister angrily shouts back.
"I can tell you exactly how life was created!," yells the frustrated scientist.
The minister grins disdainfully.
"Maybe so, but can you recreate it yourself?"
The scientist is speechless.
As seen here, there is no need for scientists and theologians to argue. Science and religion do not need to be enemies, although they are often portrayed as such. Science deals with the five physical senses: touch, taste, sight, sound, and smell. It answers the "how." Religion deals with a spiritual sense that cannot be identified with the original five senses. It longs to know the "why." However, both share a common ground. They are both involved in revealing the truth. As written in 1984 by author Ken Wilber in his book, Quantum Questions, "There is bogus or pseudo-science just as much as there is bogus or pseudo-religion, and the only worthwhile battle is between genuine and bogus, not between science and religion."
