When you see the NFL logo do you think to yourself "League of Trouble Makers" or do you think United Way,community service? Well when I first saw this topic I really had t think about it because you have the PAC Man Jones situation's, and the Vick situation not to mention Jamal Lewis and there are other's out there not as widely publicized but there out there. Then if you take a step back for just a moment and really think about it, you have a handful of individuals, versus a League of hundreds of players that do wonderful things in there communities, but you can't put all there great stories in the papers can you.Randy Moss has always been in peoples eyes a thug, bad boy, only out for himself, but this year he was a god he could do no wrong he was breaking records he was going to help become perfect, but as soon as things were great for him some one alleged something and all of the critics put the jury out on him he was back to his old self and he had something to hide.
The NFL is made up of many many upstanding men that do unbelievable things on and off the field every season, from there contribution's to the United Way to the foundation's they set up with there own funds,to the help in there surrounding communities, they are the ones leading the charge in the NFL not the PAC Man Jones or the Michael Vick's. The players of today are paid more and can do more than twenty thirty years ago, but the majority do choose to do great things with there money and don't look to be rewarded for it,they do it because it the right thing to do. So just because there are a few bad apple out of the bunch, the NFL is not full of thugs it is made up wonderful caring individuals that do play the game that they love and play it for there fans, But of course you gong to have people out there that see those few individuals that do screw up and they want to lump everyone together and that is just not right look at the whole picture before you condemn for every one PAC Man Jones stories you will hear fifty to one hundred great stories. The NFL is not full of thugs it is far from it,it would not be the number one watch sport in the United States if it were and I do believe that the commissioner nor the player union would allow it.
