It comes to no surprise to many of Americans that have no seating or hand in government, other than to vote and even that really isn't the case as I've learned, that whenever it comes close to elections, everyone, and seemingly more and more, are becoming undercutting, backstabbing slandering little children, scampering about the White House for control of power over the US. The question that seems to linger among many Americans is, "What sort of government are we allowing to run our country?" Certainly there aren't too many anti-government minds but what many in the campaigns don't seem to grasp is that slandering drives people away altogether rather than bring in the support for any of the candidates. There is no perfect person in this world and what the Americans want is someone who is more qualified by the score card; what they've done so far for this country, whats on their resume rather than what they've might have done or not. American's want someone who is able to back up what they say. Is that someone going to put into action what they've said or is that someone just blowing hot air? On the other hand, if a president were to create scandal while he was in office, of course, Americans would begin to doubt the competence of that president. It is because of this constant going back and forth, she said , he said, you did this your no good for the people, the government has lowered it's standards and the people are beginning to see the true colors of those who are desperate for the White House big chair. The power is not in the Oval Office chair but the people of this country.
The media doesn't seem to help either. The media is a smoking gun waiting to fire its next round and whoever is in the way are just simply, casualties. It doesn't care whats the truth is or not. Something can fairly be easily misconstrued or magnified. No matter what the news, some truth, no truth at all, as long as its some sort of dirt, it doesn't matter to them. One piece of information can travel from ear to ear and the news is totally different from what the original piece was. The only truth to any news today, seems to be the weather channel. The media is seemingly, just another organized crime family, minus the killing and the dumping of bodies, who thinks or believes they can sway or bend the peoples minds to anything they believe in. Somewhere along the line their beliefs aren't just reporting the news to the people anymore but to gain trust among the people that their thoughts are the truth versus the real truth, as though they are the soothsayers, predicting who the president will be and who ought to be.
