Not many people in America knew that President Bush flew into Torrance, Ca. in February. I knew because I was there. I flew down on the Governor's plane and later that day we had a meeting with the Governor of the state of Sonora and Baja's Governor Elorduy. The meeting was to negotiate for the US any excess desalinated water, generated electricity and produced Hydrogen Gas that would not be used immediately by Mexico from the 7,000,000 acre feet per year desalination plant that is planned to produce purified water along the shores of what is called the Sea of Cortez to the Salton Sea Canal. This is a channel or canal that is being planned and will start in the north end of the Sea of Cortez and extend in its first leg, to the US border just west of Calexico, Ca. where a two mile wide harbor will be built to accommoddate ocean going container ships so that they will have an inland port to unload at rather than have to wait in line at either Long Beach or LA Harbors. This channel will be one mile wide while in Mexico and 200 feet deep. Once it croses the border it will head east to the Chocolate Mountains where it will replace the existing irrigation channel that now comes in from Lake Mead in Nevada. From there it will head north to within one half mile of Interstate 10 at Indio, Ca. There another harbor will be built for it is here that many ships will offload their cargo and it will be right next to one of the busiest highways for truck traffic in the western states. The channel will then head west past the Indian Gaming Casinos of Palm Desert and Indio and will terminate at a large harbor at Palm Springs. Another advantage to this is that cruise ships will be able to dock at turn outs along the channel so that their complete compliment of passagngers can get off and gamble at the Indian Casinos in the area, there are 4 compact tribes within 10 miles.

The President and the Governor want to use the excess products from this desalination plant that will be built by an LLC being formed out of Nevada and it owns the technology know as the Plasma Incubator Reactor System that is a revolutionary technology developed by an organization known as Cal-Neva Water Quality Research Institute of California. This process desalinates salt water in a much more energy efficient process than either Reverse Osmosis or Nano Technology which are both energy hungry processes. It will produce more than 2 trillion gallon of fresh water per year. It will produce Hydrogen Gas as a by product and this is what the Governor of California wants for his Hydrogen Highway. The system also uses the Hydrogen as if it were a compressed air and produces Electricity for the Reactor System to be powered with, thereby, not using any hydro-carbon fuels in its operation.
Until Mexico is able to develop the shores along this channel it will have no use for these excess products, but the United States does and this is why the meeting was held. John McCain has been briefed on the technology and sees it as an answer to some of the drought problems in the South Eastern US where water has been used from Alabama to keep a preserve wet. Just imagine what a canal across the top of Florida would do if two of these seven million acre feet desalination plants were placed there, do you think that the water problems of Florida could be remedied to some small degree?
