to the point that the defeat inside them cultivates and becomes their goal. Ironically, the person with a low self-image does meet their goal even if it's just staying where they are at a place that they know they can achieve. And that is at the bottom. They may not be happy with their goal but it's a safety zone for them; one they are used to and one they feel they deserve.
So, the words that stand between you and success are "believe in yourself".
How do you do that? By changing your thought pattern from defeat to victory, and lining your appearance and actions up to success. Let's begin.
Stop comparing yourself to others.
We'll begin with your physical appearance: Focus on yourself and what you can do for yourself. If your appearance is not what you would like it to be, then do what you can to improve it. You might not be able to change your physique but you can change how you present yourself. If you need to lose weight then get on a good diet and exercise plan and start losing it. Don't knock down your co-worker because they look good.
If you don't like how your hair is, then go to a hairdresser and get her to help you choose a style and a colour that is best for you - not what necessarily is the style of that girl at work who you were comparing yourself to, but what is best for you. Go to a clothes boutique and get someone there to help you select a wardrobe style that suits you not what suits those who you're jealous of, but what suits you. You don't have to purchase your entire wardrobe there but you'll get an understanding of how to dress.
Speak positively: The words you speak are a reflection of who you are inside. You need to begin by speaking words that are positive and uplifting whether you're talking about someone else or about yourself. You might not fully believe it yet, but you are special. Stop insulting yourself by saying things like, I'm stupid' or I'm an idiot' or I can't do that'. You're not only insulting yourself, but you're insulting one of God's children whom He loves and whom He believes will succeed if they'd only believe it themselves.
Celebrate your strengths and achievements. They may not be what someone else calls really great but they are great to you, so celebrate them. If there's no one else to tell, then tell yourself in the mirror how great you are. You achieved a goal as small as it may seem, but you did it.
When you can begin appreciating the little things in your life, you can begin to see the big picture. The seed of victory
