to the public in general. If you believe in yourself and you are a friend to yourself, you will assertively carry yourself with some regard for yourself. Your gait and poise will reveal positive self-image immediately. Others will see a confident person. They will see a person that has high regard for self-image. This very sense of self reflects success in itself. It is a valuable asset for representing business of any type because any person that shows self-worth will also be cognizant of others and also able to recognize worth in business.

A business environment will thrive where there is stability in image. Stability in image means that you are happy with yourself, you are happy with your business and most important, you are friends with yourself. When you are friends with yourself, there isn't anyone, anywhere that you cannot openly and candidly promise a job well done.

In retrospect to when Mr. Taxman lent his poor self-image to his practice, he lost credibility and lost business. Had he provided a boosted self-image to his practice, he would have gained credibility instantly and also gained credibility of his services. This is why it is imperative to hold high regard of your image while in a business environment, since the common conception held by all is to always be prepared to experience the unknown on a whim. Your good self-image (the known)will always keep you ready for the unknown.

Aside from representing business in general, at sometime or another we all have to represent ourselves. And just as history repeats itself, so does business. But in the end, Eleanor's quote couldn't have said it better:
Friendship with oneself is all-important, because without it one cannot be friends with anyone else in the world'
