Huddled away, hiding in the comfort
of never knowing how to truly love someone.
I know he's sorry, dear.
And, if he could speak anything but lies
he would surely tell you what you would like to hear.
You were his favorite,
you were his purchase that he held above all others,
would kill his own brother for.
You were his equal,
his church and his steeple,
his holy altar,
temple and goddess.
