Private Donations are Required to Form the Harbor Improvement Districts

NORC plans to process the Petitions to Form the Harbor Improvement Districts that are necessary, by law, to govern the construction and management of the Channel. They do not, however, have the funding to complete this monumental task, at present. As such, they will require significant (tax exempt) donations to perform this great task. Please support the Channel, and the development of its green technologies, by sending your donations directly to NORC.

Cal-Neva Water Quality Research Institute (Cal-Neva)
Cal Neva is a division of another small non-profit corporation, also a 501(c)(3); the Lori Jane Foundation, A Home for Abused Women. Cal-Neva's primary purpose is to promote the advancement in technologies designed to allow industry to meet or exceed the Clean Water Act thresholds. It performs research in these areas, as well. Its headquarters are located in, Newcastle, CA , telephone number 916-434-7880; and its Director of Research is Dr. Abe Beagles.
In its pursuit of its purposes, in the past four years, Cal-Neva, and specifically its Director of Research, has caused the major breakthrough in desalination technology, (a Plasma Incubator Reactor System made up of 4 independent components from all over the world), which made large scale desalination viable. Were it not for Dr. Abe Beagles specific contribution, large scale desalination, and the Channel, would not have been possible.

The Green Technologies
The green technologies that Dr. Abe Beagles has facilitated, and acquired, is what makes it possible to desalinate large amounts of sea water economically. The Channel proposes to desalinate as much as 30 million acre feet per year of sea water. Before his breakthrough in Plasma Incubator Reactor Technology, the energy required to run a plasma incubator reactor was cost prohibitive for any other purpose but hazardous waste treatment and disposal. His plasma incubator reactor, though ten times less power consumptive than other plasma incubator reactors, was still too costly for large scale desalination, though.
