Web site reviews: MySpace.com

to do so has led to many illegitimate websites offering "code" for these pages and keeping certain "phishing devices" hidden in the code. They use these antics as ways to obtain your password and spam the community. While MySpace has taken measures to prevent these occurrences they have also started to limit the infinite freedom the page was founded on. Many times they will encourage you not to leave a MySpace page if it means you are navigating away from their site. They have also started to disable the ability for users to provide links on their pages, bulletins and comments.

Even with their new security measures, the phisers always seem step ahead MySpace administration team of 300 persons. Ultimately though, if you can keep your password to yourself and practice smart internet browsing (and avoid all the porn bot profiles being created) there is a lot that MySpace has to offer. It does truly display the power of the internet in our increasingly wired country (and world with the recent expansion into the UK.) If nothing else it is worth a look just to appreciate the sleek design and appreciate the ability in which it can handle millions of users simultaneously, despite all of the server's downtimes and blog times, and the diversity in which it has expanded its target audience. MySpace gets a solid 9.0/10.0.
