The best reasons to continue writing on your blog

When I started blogging, I was a kid who was very averse to criticism and who always looked for praise from the readers. But as I kept on writing, I realised that the more comments you fetch from your readers, either positive or negative, the more it helps you improve your writing skills.

People who start a blog normally tend to project their attitude through their blogs initially. Although it does help the readers to get to know the person, the quality of the articles suffer. After some time, your blogs will start sounding more and more narrow minded and you will start running out of ideas. That is when you stumble upon the writer's block.

You will start thinking innovatively as you experience the realities of writing - what interests your readers, what is relevant to them, what pulls them to leave a comment, what will make them list your blog in their blogroll, what makes them click on those links you provide, the ads that show up on your site.

You will acquire writing skills in general and start striking it easily with the new readers that stop by your site. This also helps in search engine optimization. The more you write, the more your entries are cached by the search engines and the more people will stop by your blog.

And yeah, continuing writing on your blog even makes monetary sense. Earning through ads is definitely one of the main reasons why you should continue writing on your blog. Nothing is as peaceful as earning while doing something you enjoy. Of course, you need to write to express your feelings, to give pen to your thoughts and analyses and also to vent out your frustrations. But, why leave the money when it is freely available. Blogging has totally revolutionised the advertising space. No longer does a publisher have to be a professional working with a top-tier media company. Any layman capable of putting his/her thoughts and feelings in nice words and can drag readers can make money thanks to some innovative ad networks available on the internet.

I personally gained a lot by continuing to write on my blog. For one thing, I found my life partner through my blogsite - yes that is true. My wife commented on my blog and one thing led to another and now we are happily married. So I strongly recommend blogging to any bachelors seeking to find like-minded partners.

Let us look at the question, "Why would anyone want to discontinue writing?" I am listing down some of the reasons I can think of and my suggestions:

1. Writer's block. No more ideas. START THINKING CREATIVELY.
2. Criticism. GROW UP. PEOPLE ALWAYS WANT TO CRITICISE. LEARN TO LEARN THROUGH CRITICISM.
3. Boredom. SPICE IT UP.
4. Work pressure. THAT IS JUST AN EXCUSE. WRITING CAN ACTUALLY RELIEVE YOU FROM THE STRESS YOUR WORK PRESSURE CAUSES.

Finally, you should continue writing on your blogs for writings' sake. There is a lot of pleasure in writing. So don't miss out on it.
