US Elections 2008: Predicting March 4 Democratic primary results in Ohio

candidates four years ago? The sole reason that Bush was hoisted into office was because of the lack of competition. Many voters say that if there were a box on the ballot that said neither, it would get the most punches.

Thus far, State Senator Teresa Fedor has Endorsed Clinton, as has Parma Mayor Dean DePiero, and former Cleveland Mayor Jane Campbell. Few may be aware of the star power that Mrs. Clinton has behind her; Jack Nicholson has endorsed her as well. Hillary herself was even quoted as saying; "hardworking Ohioans who deserve economic security and access to affordable health care". Nicely put. Hillary is trailing Osama (ooops, my mistake), Obama by a mere 194 delegates. Up for grabs in Ohio? 141. Same day, down in Texas, there are 193. Ohio will make or break Clinton, basically. But her chances are large, and I think that Hillary will take both Ohio and Texas. Hillary will be holding a rally in Toledo, while Hubby Bill is holding one in Lima, and Bowling Green. This should boost her follwing a bit for the state. Obama, in all of his arrogancy has sent his wife Michelle to Cleveland, fresh off of her comment that for once she is "really" proud of her country. How lucky for us Ohioans.

Though it was originally predicted at first that she would, Hillary Clinton may not eek out a win in Ohio. Even with women making up fifty percent of the voters in the country, she seems to be unable to hypnotize the voters like the Obama camp seems to be doing. Not everyone has fallen for the empty 'change' speech, John McCain included. What is interesting though, is how many voters may turn out to begin with. Though we all may have our premeire choices, most of us are fed up with the whole shebang. The wrong decision today will have us kicking ourselves this time next year, just as it did the last election. I will go out on a limb and say that Hillary is going to take the Ohio primary.
