Ever wonder how on earth celebrities have the shiny glossy hair that seems to jump out of a shampoo ad? Ever get so down because it seems that you have hair that will never be camera ready? Well hold hold the hairspray! Seems like not even celebrities have perfect hair all the time.

We all know that rain, a break up, weight gain, staying up late, not finding the perfect shoes, will cause trauma and tress distress. It's the same for celebrities. There is no magic potion they consume to make them wake up with a Rapunzel's weave and hair that shines like the Harry Winston they sport. The trick is to conceal bad hair before the world knows you went to Bungalow 8 and your perfect coif swept the ladies restroom.

Secret #1 - The scarf charade.
How many times have we seen celebrities shopping on Roberston, on a Wednesday around eleven with dark glasses and cute flats? Lots.
Did we even notice the hair? No. But what we did notice was how chic that Pucci scarf looked wrapped on the crown of La Lindsay. What we didn't know was that her hair probably had a long night out and like most of us would do, skipped on washing her locks. She probably looked way fab the night before with locks a go go , but to hide the hair scare, and keep it under wraps, she tied on one. You can too. No one will know you chain smoked the night away in the VIP section of your favorite club.

Secret #2 - The arm candy
Tiny fashion maven Mary Kate is an inspiration to fashionistas everywhere. From that hippie hair that always looks beach tossed perfect to her many, many, many purses she parades on display. Look closer. Why is it that she always seems to have that perfect beach ready hair that we crave, but even more so that amazing bag! Thing is, we all can have Mary Kate hair. Don't wash it. Throw your hair in some braids before you go to bed, put it up in a crazy bun, take out and shake it out the next day. Spritz and out you go, don't forget to grab your most coveted bag and head out. Chances are no one will notice your dirty hair, but they'll look at your purse instead, and even say your hair looks great.

Secret # 3 - The Faker
Jessica Simpson seems to change her hair style as often as she changes her mind about her career choices. We still love to covet those shiny brown or blonde, or streaked, curly or straight strands she displays. Guess what? She covets them too.
