If Jesus were born today

"What have you done with what my Father created?" Jesus might say. He probably cannot believe what the world is like now iand how people have turned away.. He expects us to use the brain that He gave us, when He speaks to us. That is the essence of His message: we must listen to His voice and follow His will.

If He was born today, people would still flock to Him, just like in past history. He would question are actions. He might cast stones at those that try to imitate him or at those that follow Satan's rule. Those that appear satanic and evil, might not live long, for Jesus' patience might run out quicker that what was once recorded.

He said that He said that He would never destroy the world with a flood again and when the tsunami occurred several years ago, people questioned His promise. You see, that was "part" of the world, just as are the areas where water levels are changing. He promised to never destroy the WHOLE world with a flood, but many believe that we should start paying attention to the environmental issues in this world. We are playing with nature, Mother Nature, or in reality, the nature of our Supreme Being.

How many times have you read the Book of Revelation? We should heed attention to what is said in it. How many times do you think Jesus will give us? We are sinning as we are not respecting Him through our actions. Such actions include taking what He has created, from a fetus to anything that He has breathed life into, and destroying it. Whether we are talking about shorelines, or creating disease by immoral actions, how could He be content with our being non-chalant? Respect starts with Him. If He does not get it from us, how do we think we are owed anything?

Pope Benedict XVI has come to our country to emphasis that there is hope in the world, but that we are running out of time, for peope to "get it right". He chose the name Bendict after the Benedictine fathers, from the Benedictine monastery, a place where if you knocked on their door, you would be invited in for lunch. The Benedictine monks believe in hospitality, the way a pineapple symbolizes such, and that is why President Bush personally was hospitable to him. No other time in history did a president go right to the airport to welcome a foreign minister. While the Pope is the Head of State at Vatican City, people don't realize that it is not a city in Italy; in fact, it is not even Italy. It is a country that has it's own political system, its own currency,
