It's difficult to answer the question of whether or not Mexican illegals are seeking to immigrate or invade because in the final analysis, the answer is both, and the reason for this is because these immigrants are being manipulated both by their own government and special interest groups whose motives are as sinister as it gets. The average illegal immigrant is too ignorant, uneducated, and caught up in their own struggle, they not only don't know they're the fodder in a population invasion, they simply don't care.

Using immigration as a method of conquest has a tried and true track record in the United States. English settlers outpaced the Dutch and French to form the nucleus of our new nation in the 1600-1700s. In 1830, Mexico outlawed the immigration of Americans to Texas, to try and prevent an immigration invasion of our own. But by then it was too late; Americans outnumbered Mexicans, and the new law was the impetus Texans needed to revolt, leading eventually to Mexico losing Texas to America. A similar colonial rush in the Pacific Northwest by France and America kept Russia from keeping and growing a presence on the North American continent.

Because of the loss of Texas, and the later loss of Arizona, New Mexico, and California in the Mexican-American war, Mexico lost over half of their landmass to the United States. But in the intervening years, America's military might and international prestige skyrocketed. Then the two World Wars and the succeeding creation of the United Nations worked to discourage Mexico (or any other nation) from retaking that land through traditional military means. So it's no surprise that they looked at the prospect of an immigration invasion as an alternative.

Mexico sees multiple benefits to exploiting their poorest, least valuable citizens in a cultural expansion war. First, as a nation with a very small upper class, small middle class, and massive lower class, they can increase their own standard of living easiest by removing their unproductive citizens and forcing another nation to care for, educate, and support them. Second, as a race with strong familial ties, Mexico's own economy benefits from the massive amounts of money Mexican immigrants send home from America. Finally, and this is the most important: they know that if Mexican citizens come to outnumber American citizens, then they've won the culture war. That area, be it a city, a state, or even an entire nation, will eventually become a thrall and subject state to Mexico.

Immigrants themselves only know that there's work in America. There's healthcare, and education, and a government that is not so corrupt that you have to keep bribe money handy for whenever the police stop you. They are not coming to America in the hopes of finding Mexico. They're coming to America to leave Mexico. But by their sheer numbers, and through the machinations of lobbyist groups like La Raza, an organization that IS interested in turning America into Mexico, this is exactly what they are doing.

America is under attack. The signs are clear. We need more than just a fence, more than just a secure border. But that's a start. And if we don't start soon, it will be too late, and we'll be in grande trouble.
